After being in foreclosure and already receiving two loan modification offers from our lender that actually made our payment go UP $300, we contacted Mr. Cadrecha at Florida Consumer Law Center, P.A. for his assistance. We retained him at with only two weeks before the mediation in our foreclosure case and Mr. Cadrecha’ agreed to go with us to represent us. While there, the bank representative said that the previous loan modification offers, even if still available, We’re set in stone and not going to change. After Mr. Cadrecha’ mediately told the bank representative that if he didn’t have the authority to negotiate the numbers, then they we were in violation of the mediation rules and we were going to have to take the matter before the judge for wasting everyone’s time, the bank representative offered us a different program that reduced our principal balance by over $100,000 to the current value of the home and reduced the payment from the first off first by almost half! If we sell the home and show any profit over the reduce principle, we have to give the bank a 25% of the game to the bank but all in all, we couldn’t be happier. I know that without Mr. Cadrecha and Florida Consumer Law Center’s help, we would not have gotten a modification and still would be sitting in for closure not knowing what to do.
